About Joss Bucknall

Joss began his professional career in the British Army, where he spent seven years as an Officer in the Coldstream Guards, culminating in a period as Temporary Equerry to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

After leaving the Army, he joined Weatherbys Private Bank as a Business Development Manager, focusing on attracting new clients and developing new business for the Bank. He subsequently moved to Close Brothers Asset Management, where, as a Business Development Director, he worked closely with the bespoke investment management and financial planning teams. In this role, he introduced new clients through professional intermediaries as well as his own network.

In 2025, Joss joined Stephenson Executive Search as a Consultant. He specialises in appointments across the financial services sector, spending a significant proportion of his time working with Family Offices. While his work often spans multiple geographies and jurisdictions, he is primarily based in London.
